I almost named this book Dillon’s Theory of Go-Getterness. Alright, so I probably made up the word go-getterness. But hey, we writers are creative, and someone once said, “If the word doesn’t fit – make up one that does.” Okay, so nobody said that, but creative writers sometimes coin a phrase, right? Close enough for me.

Go-getters are motivated people of action. They are self-starters who get things done. This book is the theory – or study- of those people (go-getters) who can make themselves do what they know they should do. The people who don’t procrastinate. Don’t allow themselves excuses and regardless of the circumstances, they make it happen.

Maybe you would like to be motivated enough to make yourself rich. Maybe you’d like to open your own business. Maybe you want to make cold calls or sales presentations without fear. Maybe you just want to be better at making yourself do some exercising or controlling your diet. Maybe you’d like to be more disciplined with your money.
